Windows Tip: Enable file preview in Windows Explorer

If you’ve used OS X’s column view feature, you know how useful it can be to have a preview of a selected file. You can enable a similar option in Windows by enabling the ‘Preview Pane’ option under the ‘View’ tab in any Windows Explorer window. If you also enable the ‘Details Pane’ option, you will get additional information about the selected file, such as its date of creation, modification, etc.
